For many, tlaxcalteca food is like most of the gastronomy in Mexico: mestizo, however, tlaxcalteca has a high pre-Hispanic influence, which characterizes it and makes it unique. Since ancient times in Tlaxcala lands, the culinary elements of culinary art have been corn and maguey, the latter produced mead, whose fermentation produces pulque and its varieties of fruits called cured.

On this tour you will learn about the ancient gastronomy that preserves its originality.

The haciendas in Tlaxcala had their golden age at the end of the 19th century thanks to the presence of the Mexico-Apizaco-Puebla railway, but after the Revolution they began to decline. Today there are in this state there are 40 haciendas occupied by the activity of breeding fighting bulls and 146 are former haciendas that one day were dedicated to the production of pulque. A state with delicious gastronomy, colorful magic towns and wild parties. Wherever you breathe a colonial air, you can find farms from the 16th century dedicated to the production of pulque, cattle ranches, boutique hotels and even movie locations for Mexican films from the golden age
