El muralismo es un movimiento nacido en 1920 después de la revolución mexicana. Creado con el propósito de construir una identidad nacional, valorar y recuperar la historia, reconocimiento para los descendientes de la historia.
Al ser parte de una estrategia social, este debía estar al alcance del publico. Y no debía ser coleccionable, para así dar un golpe al concepto elitista y siendo coherente con los valores de la revolución.
El movimiento tuvo 3 representantes principales; José Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros y Diego Rivera (los cuales tenían una estrecha relación con José Vasconcelos, quien fue el encargado de desarrollar programas culturales y promovió el muralismo). Pulque is a traditional fermented drink from Mexico, whose origin is pre-Hispanic and which is made from the fermentation of the sap — popularly known in Mexico as mead, agave or maguey, in particular of two types, for that reason both called maguey pulquero: Agave salmiana and Agave atrovirens. In the Otomi language it is known as ñogi, in the Purépecha language as urapi, and in Nahuatl as meoctli.
